Web based communication channels

INTRODUCTION

In this task I was asked to make a PowerPoint presentation on how ICT aids communication. This presentation consisted of information on and how it can aid Rainbow Light organisation.

I have worked in a team with a colleague of mine Rets Karlsbergs which helped me on the presentation. I found his engagement very helpful as he has brought up some very good points on which I could work on and expand in greater detail. The audience of my presentation was the clients of the Rainbow Light organisation.

Before the presentation I definitely felt a bit tens as I didn’t know if everything will go as planned and whether the stress won’t impact negatively on the quality of the material while I would try to inform it verbally to the group.

At the end of my presentation I received a feedback on both my interpersonal skills and the overall content. I have been given quite a positive feedback on my interpersonal skills stating that I kept a constant eye contact with my audience and had good intonation in my voice. The overall content of my presentation was good and to the point, however the font was a bit too small and had a bit too much detail.
